The glass blowing furnace is undergoing maintenance this summer:  classes will resume on August 19.  Come back later this summer to book your class, we look forward to seeing you!

One Time Classes are designed to give each student an immersion into glass blowing in an afternoon or evening.  Each class is very interactive, and ideal to enjoy with a friend.

Ornament Class

Intro to Glass Blowing: Make Your Own Ornament/Float

The Intro to Glassblowing: Ornament/Float class is a great chance to get your feet wet and experience glass blowing. We allow students to do most of the process- giving you the chance to apply the color of your choice, heat the glass in the glory hole, shape the piece with a block, and put in the Jack line to remove your piece from the pipe. A second person will blow out your piece.   Must be 9 years old or older.

Intro to Glass Blowing: Paperweight Class

Intro to Glassblowing: Paperweights is a great beginners class to take to get an introduction on how glass feels and reacts. In this class, you’ll have the opportunity to manipulate color and glass to create swirls and bubbles, while also trying advanced color techniques, like picking up dichroic color from a 900 degree over. Paperweights also make great gifts!

Make Your Own Bowl Class

Looking for an even more exciting experience? Shape a floppy bowl with the assistance of an expert instructor. You’ll spend two hours using traditional glassblowing techniques to create your own floppy bowl or vase. You will blow glass, transfer the piece to a punty, open it up and shape it into your specific form. Students will need to be 12 and older for this class. Classes are always less than 4 people.

Reviews from Past Students

Hosted an incredible team event here- for the first time- everyone on our team felt like equals as they all had to learn and work together!

I work with the best partners and best instructors to get the most from my 6 week classes. I have learned so much in such little time, and continue to gain knowledge and skill with each class I take.

This studio is very hands on – not all glass blowing companies are that way. This is my favorite studio by far- everyone is always nice and in a great mood. Great for a girls night out!
